Nottingham war memorial- sytner alpina a back drop

Post by mr bump » Thu Dec 30, 2021 4:23 pm

Merry Christmas to one and all alpina custodians.
I drove down the Victoria embankment this morning and it seems the barriers that were blocking off the war memorial are down. So if your local(ish) this might be a good time to take your sytner alpina and get a few pictures in front of the famous landmark.
Being a notts lad, and knowing nottm City Council, i'm sure the local council will eventually get round to making these barriers a permanent fixture in the not so distant future, the current anti-car barriers are a pedestrian/clean air trial thing but I'm 99% sure they will become permanent, after that, no one will be able to drive a car to the memorial gates again.
So get there while you can.👍

Oh, and if someone is kind enough to post this message up onto the alpina owners F/book page, that would be great. It seems that facebook don't like heated arguments over Mercedes and Michael massi, so 30 days in clink is their answer.🙄
