That looks massive. I bet it's great on a German autobahn but a bit too big to hustle down British single carriageway roads. Shame they don't make a B8 convertible, I think that would be the ultimate 'hyper-wafter'.

Looks great. Suspect it is all it claims to be. Would like one. But funds needed for other priorities.

My local dealer has a M850i GC in at the moment and it's a huge car. Not really a looker, either. The B8 is not really my cup of tea, but could see the appeal as an inter continental mile crusher.

Sad really, but i am sure it will be back on the road soon. Did they not crash a B3 a few years ago at the same corner?

I was a passenger in the B8 Grand Coupe on Thursday 8th July 21 @ Goodwood. We went up the track very fast with no real issues, my side wing mirror touched a bale but I felt very comfortable with the driver Tom Diment. It is a real pity it crashed, but the car is a monster and only arrived at Goodwood on Wednesday evening.

If you are the Silverstone Classic then Gary Lott said he would put the UK one, which is on display at Goodwood on the ALPINA display area.

There is no doubt the B8 is very quick, it must be the fastest vehicle I have ever been in. I would think it would take me as a less than average driver quite a considerable time to get used to its capabilities. I moved from a 3.0 twin turbo to the B7 and drove very carefully for a long time before I really felt confident with the car.

Perhaps one day in my dreams I will get behind the wheel of the B8 and not just as a passenger.
