New member looking to buy a B3 Biturbo coupe

Post by Rafes_Dad » Sun Jul 04, 2021 9:35 pm

Hello all, thanks for letting me join.

I’m currently an Z4 Coupe (E86) owner and looking to trade up to an Alpina for even more fun & exclusivity.

There’s a B3 BiTurbo #185 on autotrader that is registered on this page. It looks stunning and I’m going to arrange a viewing shortly. I hoped that some members here may have some information on it regards history and provenance.

One thing that clearly jumps out at me is the pictures of #185 posted here show the car fitted with Dynamic wheels but it’s currently for sale with multispokes on. If anybody knows the reason for this I’d be keen to hear from you.

Thanks all

Hi pls read this thread I think there are others with some of the work done
Barry at BMR owned it totally sorted it and added the expensive digital air vent, electric rear blind and some memory rear view mirror

What a great read that was. Barry certainly did a lot of work and had it looking and running spot in. Shame the chap he sold it to only had it for a few months and I can see the sale price has been quite up and down. Seems it was up for £14k and the dealer who has it now is selling for £17.5k looking for a quick profit.

If I’d been looking for one when it was £14k I’d have snapped it up.

Thanks for the info and the link, food for thought.
