Wheels are very personal, if anyone is old enough to remember venoms, lots liked them but I thought they were hideous
Haha, that takes me back! Remember a mate running 17" Venoms on a Pug 106 Zest. Hitting a particularly bumpy stretch of moor land road, 4-up and the o/s rear wheel got wedged up in the arch thanks to the convex shape of the wheel.

Peugeot 106s are fine hanling cars and the 106 GTi has a wonderful chassis (I've owned two); it runs on button size 14" wheels. Can only wonder what 17" TSW Venoms were like on a zest.

I never actually drove that particular car but I can’t imagine it improved the driving dynamics. :D

the car should be on classics with a no cost option of dynamics. Its a piss take 2k for the correct wheels imo

Whilst I agree it would make sense for the Classic to be the default wheel with the Dynamic as the option, it’s worth noting that the Classics on the G2x are forged and 3.5kg lighter per corner. Though I wouldn’t claim that the average punter is going to notice the reduction in unsprung mass in such a heavy car, there is presumably a substantial difference in manufacturing cost between the two wheel sets. Of course that’s a choice Alpina didn’t have to make.
