Wow that is stunning. Congratulations  . Very tastefully specified and well done for selecting such a cool combination. Apart from the LCI changes on the G31 cars - are the Alpina spoilers/splitters different?

Thanks for all the kind words.

I specifically wanted an under the radar car, and I've always debadged cars for as long as I can remember, I like the cleaner look on the tailgate and some manufacturers are throwing way too many badges on there (looking at you Volvo). The other car on the drive is a 118i and even that has been debadged. This was one of the main reasons Alpinas appealed to me far more than an M-car.

When I was ordering I went back and forth on the trim, whether I wanted black or chrome/silver. I like the contrast that the chrome provides but I'm really please I went with the black. Similarly for the ALPINA lettering on the front bumper, I originally specced that in silver but changed my mind, more under the radar this way.

Saying that, having seen a B5 in green with the gold decals, that does look nice, the green and gold complement each other well. But the decals just didn't quite fit in with what I was going for here with the rest of the understated look :D

The major changes on the outside for the LCI are the headlights & taillights (as always on an LCI of anything) as well as some quite big changes to the Alpina front bumper/splitter. The new look has bigger air gaps for cooling I believe. I don't think there are any major changes to the rear other than the lights though.

Congrats Nick from a fellow green B5 Touring owner, albeit mine is the old E61, I'm only 8 miles from Reading so as you mention Berkshire I hope to get to see your car once meets are allowed again. Enjoy your new baby, I love just looking at mine whilst stuck at home. Lovely spec too.

Fantastic car, the wheels are the only obvious giveaway to tell people it's not a boring BMW :)

Utterly gorgeous. I'm a fan of stripes, and have silver stripes on my Alpina blue B3s touring, but your car, without, looks very classy.
