How much are the front and rear bmw badges ?
They were £34.11 each plus the VAT, and the associated grommets amounted to 30p each ++

They look great though, pleased I made the switch!

Thanks, I also got rid of the EU numberplate a as well.

Not a Brexit thing, all of my cars have always run clean plates, just prefer the way they look.

With this bad weather, it made sense to work on the inside of the car.

The previous owner, a lady, may have worn handcream a lot, as the leather of the steering wheel, and especially the stitching seems to have suffered.

I used Gliptone to clean and restore, and chuffed to pieces with the re-injection of colour that has come through.

Picked up the car from a spruce up of the front and rear bumper, rectify the bonnet, and fit the OEM grilles, and then finally a full work over the paint to get it up to standard. A dull day to take a photo of it, but it's starting to look the way I want it.

Two days later, spot the difference...

A very enjoyable couple of hours fitting the Deco Stripes to the front spoiler. Thank you @SPA69

For me, I love the subtlety of striping the front spoiler only, and it ties in beautifully with the new OEM grille.

£13.5k 😉

I hope I mentioned in my opening post, that I originally bought the B10 to sit alongside a W215 CL600 as my alternating-week station cars.

Since Lockdown, I have done my best to use them, but tend to find myself using a classic or a modern, and not my modern-classics!

The CL600 is due to leave me at the end of this month, so I may well elect to keep the B10, but unlikely to be commuting back to the City this side of Christmas.

I am still 'projecting' away though, and have just bought a set of seals for the centre caps and lock covers. I'm going to have Munich or BMR tend to a couple of electric window regulators, so may well have the wheels sent off to Lepsons at the same time.

Over the cold spell at the end of last year, the brake light in my rear spoiler got very brittle and with one crack in it already, another developed.

I ordered a replacement from Alpina GmbH which arrived last week.

Interestingly, they no longer do the red brake light, but supply a clear LED replacement. I wonder whether this is a requirement of TUV?

Once fitted though, I actually really like the way it ties in with the clear indicators, just subtly freshening up the back end.

No returning to Gingicators though, alas, that might look a bit odd.
