Other forums have similar threads and are very popular, I therefore thought I start one on here

Tend not to use the car much during the winter months Neal. Keep it away from all that nasty grit/salt they throw on our roads

This week it is up in the air while we do a complete suspension and sub-frame bush refurb.

Interesting topic though.

Drove it 40 miles to work, and looking forward to the drive home.

Great believer in buying a car for driving, especially when they drive like this :D

Back from paintshop

Post by Cook » Thu Jan 21, 2016 8:54 pm

Picked up the B5 from paintshop after having front and back repainted, now i have lost one of headlamps, a quick diagnostic has brought up 'light control module' seems to have many faults logged against same unit and a quick web search brings up many E60 with same problem so gotta get that sorted ! Booked a detail for early feb to bring rest of car back upto spec and sort the white leather interior Blue jeans are bummer, think its chino time :( !!
So by mid Feb she should be back on form and will get the full deko set fitted at last. Now if only i could have that Alpina animation from the youtube clip end everytime the car is started that would be epic !!

Up and down the M1. Another couple of hundred miles for my workhorse F30 D3. 54,000 in 18 months now.

The right steed for munching all those miles!

Drove over 100 miles to meetings & running errands.. can't get enough of it. Over 20,000 miles in the past year. 4WD + winter tyres means there's no stopping it.. a fantastic year round car :)
