Very pleased now - I got my B3 back after Kevin Bird replaced the rear dampers and fitted a Quaife ATB LSD :D

... drove home and immediately noticed I had lost the rear end 'clonk' on severe bumps, and generally smoother.
Also noticed that the left-right ride height is quite similar now - measures less than 3mm difference unladen.
... but not really "tested" the diff yet ! .. that's some fun to come :)
B3 BiTurbo Cabrio #121 (E93) + Quaife ATB LSD
X1 2.0 Twin-Scroll Turbo xDrive #zillion (F48) ... really useful, if only an XB1 existed !

--- but when you are up to your ears in alligators it can be relatively difficult to remember that your original idea was to drain the swamp --- hmmm

Out for a rather wet walk with the family, from Wray Castle, time for a quick shot on return to the car.

Great shot Paul! Not sure what is more imposing, the car or the castle.

Virtually a full fluid change of engine, gearbox and brakes but not diff - although we did check the level!

Also replaced the fuel filter (last changed 2012) following an interesting week recently when power dropped off intermittently and which we eventually diagnosed as dirty fuel.

Also dealt with a couple of weepy seals, cleaned the engine bay of oily residue, tidied up some loose cable covers and checked the alternator output for no other reason than it was something I haven't done before!

Finally, met up with the buyer of my "old" winter set and concluded the transaction.

All in all a productive morning over at CPC with my main man, Boris 😀

Picked up the D5 from BMR Performance after having the timing chain/guides replaced. I didn't have known 'issues' with the chain etc. was more for peace of mind given that the car is now at 126k miles.
First time at BMR, out of 3 Indys they were the only ones that responded to my enquiry, and supplied a fully itemised quote for every item that would be required to carryout the work.

Looks cool Simon!

I swapped onto my WInters this weekend - decided it was that time of year....

MOT passed last week, washed at weekend. 20 years old this year and still looks good compared to one 15 years younger.
