Hi Corky,

Thanks, it’s came up quite well as there a number of swirl marks on the paintwork that have now been removed.

We had a varied day in the B4 today. It was my wife’s birthday, so we drove into central Birmingham this morning for a day around the shops. Then this evening we had a run out to a pub in the country for tea. It excelled at both!

Spotted a cracking B3 in the Jewellery Quarter too - I’ll post it in Spotted….

Haha yes I'm always very fussy where I park! That carpark in Birmingham was amazing to be fair - nicely sized spaces (for once) and each space even had a green/red light to show if it was occupied or not. Overkill maybe, but I thought it was cool!

Been a long weekend with a trip to Brands Hatch as Donnelly Racing for Time Attack. Marc broke his PB on both days, so did really well to pedal a near 40 year old escort around in 52 seconds.

Took the opportunity to get both Alpinas leaving and a good shot of the black XD3 looking very blue in the sunshine this morning.

Thanks Paul - and to think the Escort was pretty much a medium sized family car back in the day!

People must have been smaller in the 80's

Had a run over to the BMW Car Club trackday at Cadwell Park for some passenger ride action.

Adam was in attendance with Graham and his XD3 running their track prepped E30 very hard all day as per usual and troubling many an M car and Porsche, especially in the bends where we were positively held up, and especially by the Porsches who would then power off down the straights after meandering through the twisty bits...

It was also a pleasure to meet John and the astonishingly capable Brunhilda, the performance of whom is simply brutal. Power, grip and brakes all in abundance, and on road tyres which made the experience all the more unbelievable! An absolutely epic piece of kit, and as John pointed out also very capable of transporting 6ft fence posts and such like for the more mundane side of life.

We did have a plan to take a group shot of all three Alpinas together but i'm afraid time got the better of us. This is about the best shot i got of a great day!
