Nice one Matt, bet you're absolutely loving it. Look forward to seeing you both at a meet or two this summer.

Lovely and looks so much better with the silver wheels - I think this is the only B/D3 with laser lights?

Thanks. Not sure about it being the only one with lasers, but I can say that they're bloody amazing. the high beam assist is proper witchcraft.

Changed another original part - not many others left!

After 21 years and 402k miles, one of the lambda sensors finally decided to stop working.

First time out since November. No salt and it was dry, otherwise would have waited a bit longer lol!
New job so a longer commute now, even more to enjoy.

Rain again tomorrow, and farmers have got the roads round here like a field, so no more opportunities to brighten the brake discs up this week i fear.

Gave it a first wash in my ownership. Some of you may recognise the plate from the cars time with Autocar magazine last year. Sytner changed the alloy wheel and deco set colour for me before I picked it up at the end of Jan.
Fantastic Matt - it looks superb! As others have said, the silver wheels and deco really make it.

Only thing is, that Haribo packet really clashes with the interior! ;-)

I gave mine a wash yesterday and looking at it in the sunshine this morning, I noted plenty of swirls and buffer trails from the dealer prep. Decided I couldn’t live with that, but time was also short. I gave the car a quick(ish) once over with Sonax Perfect Finish on a finishing pad via Rupes DA. Not perfect, but much better

One of the pics is a before of the rear bumper and gives you an idea of what the rest of the car looked like

Another B3S with the head off, the headgasket is just starting to fail. Its a bit shit as its only covered 59k ish since the last time i had the head off 10 years ago. I don't think that is the only problem sadly. Its been off the road sat in the garage over a year now

 I'm with Simon here, don't have the patience or skill to carry out Matt level cleaning.

What flavour is the E30 in the background?
