rear upper arms
hi , all, just replaced my rear upper arms ball joint cover failure on both sides Just put o e m parts on and my car now seems to be too high, the ride is hard and very bouncy . Does any one know if there is a certain way of refit. I did them on ramp in work should I jack the wheel whilst doing up bolt or something . The car just is too high at rear and ride rubbish any ideas greatly appreciated , car b10 v8 1998

I might be wrong here, but it sounds to me that you have done all the bolts up with no load on the suspension. This has locked all the bushes in tension and are 'holding' the car high. If you crack all the bolts you have touched off and then put a jack under the hub and lift the suspension to the working height and then tighten them all back up, this should solve the issue.
If you leave it, the new bushes in the arms will fail very soon.
