E32 B11 3.5 Exhaust wanted
Hello,
Just joined i own a B11 3.5 auto, just going through a refresh stage and the exhaust has sadly let go. I have had a custom made exhaust but a bit too loud so after a original or any other BMW model that may share the same exhaust system.
After Cat back.
Thanks.

Have you tried ALPINA? No idea if they are still available (probably not) and the price will be £££ but at least you'd have a starting point.AlpinaB11Jay wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 9:17 amHello,

Also, where are you based? Not many E32 ALPINAs left in the UK. It would be great to see some pics

Based in Shropshire.
Yes, tried them not cheap but may be the route if no luck. I was told the M5 exhaust is similar but cant confirm that?
The B11 is in need of a touch up, rust in areas. Been standing for about 3 years so needs a refresh as well. Mechanically its sound after just having a head gasket and other bits done.
Got the front splitter freshly painted, hub caps to finish it off as well.

the original Boysen/Alpina exhaust for the B11 is no longer available, most got swapped for a std system when they rotted becaiuse the 3rd or 4th owner couldn't justify the cost.
I would imagine with the std system, on an engine thats covered some miles any reduction in power is going to be hardly noticeable, the system was free flowing but 'we did without the headers and its there that any power gain is felt.
I'd go std e32 735i with larger outlets on the rear box.

Thanks AG, so should fit fine? Yes tbh its going to be a sunday sunny drive out so performance is not a concern.AG wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 4:21 pmthe original Boysen/Alpina exhaust for the B11 is no longer available, most got swapped for a std system when they rotted becaiuse the 3rd or 4th owner couldn't justify the cost.

If you still have the original back box or system many years ago quicksilver exhausts would make an exact replica in stainless steel inc baffles bore size. Not sure if they would do this but if so it’s worth a call if you still have the original

Thats what i have had done, a custom built exhaust following the original. Sadly its got a bit too much drone so thinking either adding in another box or fitting a standard E32 mid box.
