Hi guys,
I’m after a alpina D5 F10 rear coil spring or part number if any one can help. Local dealers are pointing me to alpina, who are then pointing me back to bmw dealers.
And not getting anywhere
Would it be a same set up as the 535d f10?
TIA

Re: Wanted D5 F10 rear coil spring or part number
I’ve just bought an F11 D5 LCI and downloaded this document - here is the page with the rear springs - not sure why there are 3 options though. Hope this helps.
Re: Wanted D5 F10 rear coil spring or part number
Thanks for reply, been struggling to get a part number the actual catalog refers you through alpina stock and not bmw.
Last attempt today if not f10 535d coils will be going in.

Re: Wanted D5 F10 rear coil spring or part number
I think the correct springs are Alpina specific as they are shorter than normal BMW ones - according to the original D5 press brochure.
Re: Wanted D5 F10 rear coil spring or part number
The D5 runs ALPINA specific springs made by Eibach. The different numbers reflect different versions based on spec of the car - the chassis number for your car will confirm which your car needs.
ALPINA springs will only be available via BMW dealers and quite likely take a few weeks to arrive. You can fit 535d springs, but they won’t be the same and it’ll affect how the car drives.
