Hi
I have a 2023 (Number 997) B5 and it does not have steering wheel heating.
Please, does anyone know if this is available as a retro-fit?
Or do I need a new wheel?
Thanks in advance.

New wheel and will require coding in.

Has anyone got a ballpark figure on how much the Alpina ‘flappy’ paddles cost to buy?
B5 G30 number 332 (development car)
D5 number 21
D3MT number 284 (gone but will be sadly missed)

Congrats, that's a lovely car. One of the v last B5 T to come to the UK. Beautiful colour
I'm sure this can be retrofitted - might be best to ask Sytner (or a good specialist like BMR) to look into for you.

Re: B5 steering wheel heating
Thanks all for the advice.
The ever helpful Alex at Sytner told me that heated steering wheel was an option on 5 series BMWs and a new wheel and coding was necessary.
Also, to do it after the warranty ran out...
Thanks, the colour and the grey wheels are growing on me.
As to the Alpina flappy paddles, they are longer than standard and very close to the wiper controls. Doesn't affect using the paddles, but does if you want to change the intermittent wiper speed.
