F32 B4S Brake Pad Query

Post by JC69 » Wed Nov 15, 2023 2:55 am

Can anyone help me with which brake pads front and rear I should buy for my 2017 B4S ? I had a parts quote from the dealer of over 1000 dollars AUD. I am pretty sure there must be options ? surely the brakes will be a third party manufacturer ? So there should be parts to buy from someone else ?

Thanks for your help

I have just been rechecking the parts catalogue and noticed the brake pads have a 10 digit part number which I think may be a BMW part number ? Can anyone confirm, this would suggest the brake calipers and pads etc are the same as the donor vehicle 440i ? Any help appreciated.

I think that Pagid make the OE pads for Alpina. However, I’ve found the F8* M3 pads to do just as good a job and they’re about half the price.
