D3 F31 - Rear coil spring

Post by frednil » Mon May 30, 2022 10:37 am

Hi guys!

I need to replace rear coil springs. I've been in dialouge with ALPINA and they said the correct part number for my vehicle is 3353125.
Does anyone know whether it has to be ordered directly from ALPINA or is it possible that Eibach or i.e. can deliver?

How has you guys bought your replacement springs? :D

Best regards

Fredrik

I’d be interested to hear about this too, my D3 F31 is also in need of replacement rear springs - I have one broken one.

I’ve asked my local Bmw independent (great guys) to price up the springs.

7-digit part numbers are unique/bespoke ALPINA spec parts which menas in the UK you can only order from Sytner/any BMW dealer or through FNW-Tuning in Germany (but be aware what the shipping/taxes might end up being)

Parts with 11-digits numbers are from the BMW parts bin which can be sourced through any motorfactor/BMW dealer, etc

I guess you're looking at the usual suspects: Eibach, H&R, etc which will probably have something similar spec wise. Otherwise Birds Garage do a sport suspension set up for the F3x chassis, might be worth speaking to them as they look after quite a few ALPINAs and might have an opinion.

Gone with oe alpina springs, 4 week order time but it’s then back as it should be plus if I went for the off shelf stuff it only comes in a full car kit
