Anyone done a DIY replacement on these? Care to share thoughts on process, parts and difficulty?

My E46 windows were very slow to go up and down in the front.
I got some ised regulators from a breakers for a tenner each
Standard E46 part
Not fitted them as yet as put some silicone lubricant spray down the runners and that has sorted them out for now

It's a faff to remove the door card so go slowly with that. Then be very careful unpeeling the moisture film as you don't want to rip/damage it.

Once the innards of the door are revealed, most things are easily accessible but remember to take photos of before so that you can reference how you install the new parts. There are plenty of videos on YouTube to help with this process.

Alternatively, speak to Boris and ask if he might be interested in some after hours work ...

I've done both and am about to do the drivers side on my 330i, all fairly straightforward, just make sure you disconnect the battery to avoid any issue with the door air bag.

Plenty of guides online, watch a few videos that'll set you up.
