Quick question please. When does this need changing? My car is the monoturbo 2.0lt diesel 2007 model. Not sure which engine on it...M47 or N47???

100% an M47 engine, Marie-Noelle. Not known for these engines to have timing chain issues unless poorly maintained, run low on engine oil, or very high mileage. Even in the latter case, they usually last the lifetime of the engine. Note it's a chain, not a belt. Belts usually require a regular change, but chains do not.

The later N47 and M57 diesel engines are those known to be prone to chain failure.
