For the last few months, I've started to get progressively worse vibration/judder through the steering wheel when braking from motorway speeds - it's not noticeable when braking below 50 mph. I've checked the run-out on the discs (~0.05-0.1mm), made sure there's no corrosion between hub and disc mating surfaces, checked wheels for balance and wheel bearings for play and it's a bit better but still there.
The car (335d) now has 160K and is on original suspension (bar dampers, all changed 5K ago) so I'm now wondering whether the lower arms could be causing the problem...? Any suggestions welcome
Mike
E91 Brake Judder
Re: E91 Brake Judder
Thanks Jolls,
Previous owner has replaced them with purple powerflex polybushes about 80K ago - having just looked, they are oil contaminated on the RHS - not that it should make a difference with polyurethane - probably the turbo oil lines are leaking (another job to sort!)

Re: E91 Brake Judder
I had this a while ago (not an Alpina) but BMW and it was a sticking brake calliper. Worth a look. !!
