Indy Recommendation North East
Indy Recommendation North East
Hello, looking for recommendations for an Indy in the north east to service my D3, I rang Vertu BMW today for an oil service quote and was told that as it’s an Alpina, I would have to book it in and they would charge after the service was carried out!!
Re: Indy Recommendation North East
That's straight out of the "let's see how much we can fleece them for" playbook.
Servicing an ALPINA is pretty much the same as servicing the donor car. It is NOT an M car and does not attract a corresponding premium price. Either educate them or, as you are wisely doing, look for an alternative
Hope this helps

Re: Indy Recommendation North East
Highly recommend Scott @ Valley Motor works, Unit B, Block 321 Mayoral Way, Team Valley Trading Estate, Gateshead, NE11 0RT
He’s looked after both of my Alpinas and has a good reputation on the The North east Section in Pistonheads.com
Tell him Sandy with the Blue Alpina recommended him
I wouldn’t recommend that Vertu garage as they have....... left a coolant pipe undone on my D5 when it was in for the EGR recall, stole my Alpina key ring which also had a key for the wheels attached to it (they denied it of course) and also washed my car even though there was a big sign on the dash telling them not to.
OP is yours the D3 that I sometimes see around Team Valley?
