Hello peeps
As the title says...
And btw...been a while I haven't been here
So, yes, D3ALP drinks 1lt of oil every 800 miles
Turbo reconditioned
Intercooler changed
Water pump changed
And lots of other things changed
Oil changed to higher viscosity 10w40, 15w50
the only improvement is that now it drinks 1lt of oil every 800 miles. Before all these changes it was drinking 1lt of oil every 450 miles. Problem started about 10k miles ago
Ideas? Thank you!!

Have you checked the crankcase breather hose? If blocked I believe this can cause higher oil consumption.
B3 E46 no.265 gone but not forgotten.

Re: My D3MT drinks oil....
I had a similar issue with my old diesel, and after changing the turbo, intercooler, and trying different oil viscosities like you did, it turned out to be worn piston rings. Mine was drinking oil at a crazy rate too, and the only real fix was a rebuild, unfortunately. I’d recommend doing a compression test just to confirm. It sucks, but at least you'll know for sure what you're dealing with.
