Picked this up yesterday - having a very necessary Alpina break. Great build quality, mostly excellent ride, lovely interior - real dials, knobs for temperature, great seats quad (real!) exhausts, sleeper V8. Not researched the infamous understeer yet.

Lovely cars - congrats. And the S6 is very Alpina - a stealthy, under the radar wagon with a V8. Most will think it's another S Line A6, which is perfect. Will be interesting to hear your reflections on it with time.

That is very nice - I've looked at these a few times in the past, they are really desirable. Such an understated looker for a V8 Wagon. Enjoy!
