An extremely dark day in my household....

Post by Mark996 » Tue Sep 18, 2012 6:49 pm

Not much more to be said from me than my wife and I (both cops) have been left cold, annoyed and devastated that 2 of our colleagues lost their lives today while doing something that they, we and 1000's of others do everyday.....

There's bound to be plenty of tit for tat, 'cops do a good job' and 'cops are hopeless and crap' debates over the next few days I'm sure that's already being massively mis-reported by the media, but nevertheless, our thoughts and prayers will continue to be with the 2 officers (note NOT 'wpcs' - we're ALL officers!) families and often forgotten about, their 'other family' - the shift they work with day in day out.....

Girls, thank you and we're all proud of you both. RIP

Well put, Mark, and we're in full agreement here.
A sad day when anyone is just 'doing their job' and some low-life decides he wants to detroy their and their families lives.
I've never, ever envied any copper his job, especially in some of our cities. Keep safe.

Totally agree.
The death sentance should be the ultimate punishment for a crime like this.

Mark,
I know i may come across as anti police and rib you at every opportunity but it's only banter.
It was a sad day indeed and something you only used to read about in the Bronx and the likes but NEVER over here.
Sadly with the way our legal system has become and human rights etc this is the result.
R.I.P and my thoughts to the families, friends and colleagues
