Re: F11 D5 or B5 towhook / towbar - availability / removing the diffuser
They say they don't have one for the Alpina, but they do have one for the BMW F11, which should work, no? Thanks for any insight into this! Hi mate, as Yad says, i have done this, and i also found time to do a write up: https://thealpinaregister.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=25387&p=212106&hilit=...

Coz its a right knackered looking mess Marc. Scuffed thru the top surface and rhs thumb / palm rest. Wow that is awful! Painful to get sorted out no doubt, from all angles (time, cost, faff) but it will surely be as good as new! You've certainly gone about getting it sorted the right way.

Re: F10 / F11 Front Control Arms
Nice job Marc. It amazes me why BMW have to put such a huge mark up on these parts! Thanks for the advice mate! Crazy mark up from BMW. Having sat around their waiting areas numerous times over the years, conversations i've overhead between staff and customers lead me to believe people generally ac...

Re: Alpina D5 thoughts / advice ?
I really like this, nice colour combo, LCI, lovely interior and one owner, which is always attractive. Looks like stickers has been put over the lettering on the front splitter, which aren't quite the right size and have been fitted badly. Looks wonky. Pirelli P Zero tyres, although premium and ALP ...

Re: F10 / F11 Front Control Arms
Where did you buy the replacement parts and did you fit them yourself. If so, was it straightforward? Hi Paul, Regards sourcing them - i was in contact with Frosty following a post of his some time ago where he replaced the same arms, i think the best option at the time was Autodoc but they couldn'...

F10 / F11 Front Control Arms
Having been told about slight play in the ball joints during a recent service, i decided to change all four front control arms. I went for the Lemforder arms on the basis that they make these parts arms for BMW as the OEM- photos below for comparison if anyone is interested. You can see where the BM...

Re: Trip over Buttertubs pass
Many years since i've been over there, absolutely awesome road, and great photos!
I used to enjoy the scenic run from Hawes to Nateby via Thwaite, Keld and Birkdale but not sure i'd do it in the Alpina.
Mores suited to a hire car with balloons for tyres but cracking scenery!
