Peak District Tour
Just in the early planning stages of next year's Peak District Tour for myself and a couple of friends, who are on motorbikes, and I will be in my B3S. So looking for any recommendations on where to stay, presently looking at Buxton or Matlock for hotels or maybe decent 'coaching' inns, consider any...

Re: North Yorkshire Moors
Well, we've done our Yorkshire Moors Tour, stayed in Forest & Vale in Pickering and in general had a good time with good food, drank well and tried out the Moors roads. Visited Scarborough (not my idea) Whitby, Staithes, Saltburn by the Sea and of course Goathland. Found the Cod and Lobster, but ful...

Re: New Member - Owner of E60 B5 No. 153
Hi Nathan,
This date is really close to my wife's birthday so most likely would be having a family meal somewhere. To be fair she does let me get away with rather a lot so its probably a no go for me.

Re: North Yorkshire Moors
Thanks JCC and Hap for the suggestions. We will do a internet search and and see what comes up.
I like the reduction in time
and I won't have the speed limiter on board, its an only blokes do so the wives will be all at home doing what they do when we are away enjoying ourselves
.

Re: North Yorkshire Moors
Hi Hap, yes we intend to visit Whitby on the A169 via Goathland, which I think is the road you mean, so thanks. Plus on northwards on the A174 again with a stop at Staithes, amongst many other routes. We will keep a lookout for the cafe. All we need is some recommendations for must see places, resta...

North Yorkshire Moors
Hi All, Myself and a couple of friends, all retired but young at heart, are going to be touring the North Yorkshire Moors later this year for about 5 days, probably before the school summer holidays, probably based in Pickering. I believe we have the routes sorted from a previously planned but covid...

Re: New Member - Owner of E60 B5 No. 153
Hi Mr Green and welcome, I am a Gloucestershire member and, as others have said, there are number of local places to meet with other like minded enthusiasts such as Caffeine and Machine, which is quite a nice drive out on a Sunday to Ettington Warwickshire. Another place I quite like to visit is The...

Re: Made me smile
I just knew there would be some other mispronunciations others had heard and I do like the badge
. I'm going to have to cut and paste that and forward it.
Just for clarity my car is blue with black interior so no way is it an Alpino

Made me smile
On the way back home from our caravan in North Devon traveling north on the M5 very slowly in a traffic jam and talking cars with my wife, mainly about her next one to take over duties from her Zafira and she came out with "I don't care what it is as long as its got an engine and four wheels not lik...
