Re: Deco stripes

Yeh agree the fitment process is extremely important as one wrong move and it could end up looking so wrong.

Re: Whats going on with the BMWCCGB

Morning Norman, I read the article in this straight six and really didn't sit comfortably with me. Being that the Sommerfest is one of the biggest BMWCC shows of the year for the blame to be put solely on one persons shoulders, in my opinion, is not on. It should never be a surprise when something i...

Re: Ultimate BMW - Sunday 28th April 2024 - British Motor Museum

Great to hear and lots of positive feedback echo'd on the FB Page for the show. So the guys did a good job. I've asked Parmi if I can start thinking a little earlier about the display area for Alpina and do more of a display rather than just a line up of cars. I'm going to look at some options.

Re: Timing Chain and Swirl Flaps

Hey, Yeah to find that problem while the engine was out and with Swift is really lucky and kudos to Swift for being diligent and taking the time to take the manifold off to check things. Really pleased they did this. Fabian showed me the inlet manifold when I picked the car up and where the bearings...

Re: Ultimate BMW - Sunday 28th April 2024 - British Motor Museum

Morning all, Thanks to all that braved the rain on the morning and made it to Ultimate BMW. We had 19 cars on our display and John popped in to say hi in the B3 GT3. Great to see you all and hope you all had a good day. I think overall the even was better managed this year with minimal revving and w...

B2.5 - in green with cloth - such a classic spec. Cloth is so much more the drivers choice. I'd love to see more cars come with great cloth seats.

Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?

Dropped mine off at Swift Performance this morning. TIMING CHAIN time. Having now covered 174,000 miles and it last being done at 80,000 its about time. I've had no noises and oil changes every 6k miles for most of its life. I just couldn't wait any longer so for peace of mind have had to get it don...

The white B8 I am told that the offered to reduce it by 15K. I think it was 155K and now offered at 140K. Not bad if you have some loose change.
Its a bit Marmite the White B8, White, black decals, red leather. Awesome car difficult to look at (for me anyway)
