Re: Interior Preferences

Definitely Malachite - the only E61 B5 in this colour. Different pic attached from when recently at Birds that shows a bit better :)

Or this one, I love it?
I'm afraid that's the point at which 'I'm out'. Looks a bit like someone has let their toddler loose with the crayons.... :D

Re: Interior Preferences

Previous cars have always been black leather but now both my cars are coloured and I much prefer it. My B5 is caramel Merino inside with wood trim (Malachite green exterior) and my daily 640d vert' is red with carbon trim (black exterior). My Mrs refers to the B5 as my 'old man's car with wood in it...

Re: Goodwood Festival of Speed July 2021

Hello Jules. I have ticket for the Thursday from 2020. In 2019 did performance parking entrance via Gate 4, it is a steep gravel track for farm vehicles but fine with care and slow. The actual parking is a grassed area and it is easy to walk down inside the event. I took a picnic and went back and ...

Goodwood Festival of Speed July 2021

Afternoon all, I hope all are well in these strange times. Hopefully the current restrictions will ease before too long and having had last year's tickets refunded I have rebooked for this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. I just wondered how many others may be bringing their Alpina along? I've boo...

Re: First Alpina Ordered

Welcome pf64, and that sounds like a nice spec' too. You can't beat an Alpina Touring for class, pace and space, but then I am biased..... :) Fingers crossed your delivery is sooner than expected and be sure to upload some pics after she arrives and log your car on the register. Always interested t...

Re: My G31 B5 LCI has arrived

Congrats Nick from a fellow green B5 Touring owner, albeit mine is the old E61, I'm only 8 miles from Reading so as you mention Berkshire I hope to get to see your car once meets are allowed again. Enjoy your new baby, I love just looking at mine whilst stuck at home. Lovely spec too.
