Just a query for anyone who has an E46. Is the Alpina logo between the Speedo and the rev counter supposed to be back lit? Mine isn't and I am wondering if it's supposed to be.

Thanks guys. Gave the garage a call just to check my warranty. It's in the post! Haven't had any knocking. Slight rough idle on turning on for first 20 seconds before settles down. I'm getting 200 miles to a tank. To be fair I've driven it spiritedly since I've had it. Is that normal?!

I have just taken the plunge and bought the car. Traded in my 130i for it. Hopefully be a good one. Has just had a service 2 inspection and new gearbox oil and a few other little bits done before sale to me. How would I know if the head gasket is failing and what are the signs
