Re: What did you do in your ALPINA today?

Screwed up that post but meant to say that with the weather being good spent a good bit of today cleaning and giving the leather a clean and feed. it was good to get out after the recent poor weather. John, what an absolute beauty, I don't think I've seen proper pics of your car until now. Alpina b...

Re: Gear Selector Light

Wowzers Rav, I though the kit was £1300 odd?

Sorry can't help with the light thing - lose connection, or the bulb or switch?

Re: My E9

Likewise, a car I've always desired. I still have the large poster of Hans Stuck landing his BMW 3.0 CSL at Flugplatz on his way to pole position in the ETCC round at the old Nurburgring in 1974. Haha this one: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/4f/1c/62/4f1c62efe541c326aeec6dd78b734451.jpg That was my...

Re: Going for a bit of a cosmetic refresh.

Refurbing plastic trim is very easy, as long as you prepare the old surface correctly and use the correct paint. Well within scope of a DIYer. For ceramic coating - depends on the type of kit as the amount of products out there is massive. Some of the more pro kits do need special understanding on h...

Re: F11 D5 BiTurbo - #162

As I understand it the difference between Euro 5 and 6 is the NOx limit is very stringent and achiev...

Re: F10 D5 BiTurbo - #137

Welcome Mrs FIFTY

These cars are perfect for the long tours. Took mine to Norway a couple of years ago and I really don’t think there’s a better car out there to do the trip in. I was getting 1000km per tank too!

Enjoy your fab car 8)
