What a shame to let an Alpina get in such poor condition. Judging by the seat wear they have knocked a 1 off the front of the mileage. Not Alpina but still interesting. I've always wondered about the M5 tourings. I had an S6 avant which was bad and always fancy a super barge. Has anyone ever driven one? well done and another titan silver but with sunroof? is the trim aftermarket as i thought it would have been wood? has the wiper fluid tank been replaced as i have never seen a tank with clear lid. and the roof shark fin? is that a factory install? i would think fuel level sensor? https://www.e46fan...

in case anyone else has the same issue ie both lights not working and you have checked the obvious ie the bulbs and fuse, the likely culprit is a broken wire in the pesky boot hinge loom

and whilst youre in there what else are you doing given its unlikely you're replacing just the tensioner?
