Re: Alpina Blue E90 D3Biturbo: Narberth 01/04/21

The E90 D3 BT that was for sale in Narbeth until around Aug-19 was #232 (FJ60LZL) in Montego Blue. There is only one UK E90 D3 BT in ALPINA Blue and that is #190 which is a 59-plate. All the other "blue" ones are either Montego, Monaco, Deep Sea, Bluewater or Santorini Looks like it's #232, as you ...

Alpina Blue E90 D3Biturbo: Narberth 01/04/21

Roughly 2:30 on the 1st April 2021, seen on Narberth high street whilst we were behaving in a very middle class manner was an Alpina Blue (I think) E90 D3Biturbo running on Dynamics, reg FJ60 *** There was one for sale around the Narberth area a couple of years back which I was a little interested i...

Re: F30 D3 BiTurbo in Telford

Assume you are in the Shire as well then Bobbly? What do I need to look out for? :D Nope. I've been known to get about a bit as my own 'spotted' post is about to indicate. The family I believe this car is linked to actually owned a shop in a town I used to reside in, and I'm pretty sure their broth...

Re: F30 D3 BiTurbo in Telford

Often seen around Salop: seems to be a local car to the county. I've a hunch I know the family, but not 100% sure

Re: E93 B3S buying advice please

N54's in my sphere always have been relatively trouble free when maintained correctly. I do know of LCI cars having had issues and iirc lowest mileage turbo wastegate rattle failure was at 22k miles. I'm also aware of LCI cars with >100k under their shoes never having turbo related issues. HPFP fail...

Re: Torque for wheel bolts

There's an easy way to remember to BMW wheel bolt torques for their 'standard' bolt sizes of 12mm & 14mm The recommended torques are ((bolt diameter in mm) x 10Nm) +/- 10Nm This means that 12mm bolts should be 120Nm +/10Nm so 110-130Nm 14mm bolts should be 140Nm +/10Nm so 130-150Nm The educated amo...

Re: E85 Roadster S #034

Given the last/current keeper most likely bought this from the dealer in Bradford in Jun-19 they will be in for up to the last advertised price of £20k. So I'd be asking myself why the rapid flip? Just doesn't like it? Reliability problems? Or financial problem? I think trying to get the dealer mar...

Re: E85 Roadster S #034

Is that the money these are at now? I thought they were around the 15k Mark. That's what I'd expect, too. Certainly tops at £16-18k for top condition and colours and a good warranty. I guess he's testing the water with Spring and all those lovely top down trips out looming. Oh, hang on..... :? Chee...

Re: Why would you feel the need to do this?

Sheer lunacy to stretch an already overly fast vehicle and it's safety factors. But then I do wonder why 608hp cars are even necessary on UK roads.

Re: RS for Sale No 137

That service history is all wrong. At nigh-on £20k, I'd expect it to be spot on. Our dream red leather interior has exactly the same door cards: they're not faulty at all. Ignore those words. Seen it on plenty of RS with this interior. For this sort of money you'll find a really nice Boxster which d...

Re: RS for Sale No 137

The black "ALPINA" decal on the lower splitter is non standard as It was left silver on silver cars. That may be so, but not all were left silver: some were originally gold and look very nice on silver The choice of letter colours is up to the owner, These look nice with various different colours, ...
