I see it alot, always advise "It MAY require a set of pads, but we'll check while on the ramp"

However in most cases theyre maybe 60% worn or so

BUT we're not allowed to do a CBS correction anymore, as it'll confuse the computer and over estimate the life of the pads...

The only way its "unsafe to drive" is if the wiring to the blower motor wiring has melted

Parts are slowly becoming available, but its still a bit of a lead time

If its not been done already, book it in for September-ish time

BMW allow an up to 10mm difference in ride height before they say to start replacing parts, so i'd say you're fine

There is something about those B5/6's isn't there? 8) The M5 is a lovely thing, though. I debated changing to a B5, but couldnt find an S model at the time Decided to hold onto the M5.... ...and traded it in for a brand new F06 640d I'm waiting for an F01 B7BT or something equally as mad to turn up...
