I had powerflex fitted for around 4yrs on my B3 until i sold it recently, never had a problem with them and they definitely made the ride and steering far better....and it seems a common upgrade through out the e46 world

E46`s are notorious for chewing rear control arm bushes so this is your most likely culprit, they are easy to change and should take half an hour to an hour at the most on a ramp. Don't buy after market cheap ones or you'll be having them done again in 12 months , for the price of genuine ones its n...

Re: Update

I visited KDS and met with Jay who was great and the painter Rigor who was previously at Ascari, and like Jay he really knows his stuff. The workshop was immaculate, not a spec of dust anywhere and with state of the art equipment. These guys took their time to show me around the facility and their ...

I stand to be corrected but Alpina did only use the single vanos units on their engines, Bmw will tell you its a double vanos as that is what will show from the chassis number and what was used on the donor cars original engine. I think this is what you need http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts...

So what circuit does that fuse supply? Have you recently jump started the car? We had a problem with our 2004 530d. It was jump started by a garage and that spiked one of the electrical components. A black box that sits under the rear seat. I think it was something to do with the fuel supply regula...

Cat C is supposed to mean has had structural damage Cat d means just written off as uneconomical to repair. I'd always be wary of any Cat C vehicle This is not necessarily true and can be very confusing for buyers, i had a cat c car which had sustained any structural damage to its main chassis but ...

What i find most interesting is the fact that most Alpinas seem to be always CAT C and not D like most other cars get !!! This almost certainly put them in a less desirable bracket for resale unlike a CAT D which most people know they throw at cars for having a broken mirror cover now a days. The on...

You can insure a categorized car just the same as you insure an ordinary every day unregistered car , there is no problems at all , at the end of the day the insurance deem them fit to go back on the road they just don't see it cost effective to repair it .
