Great to meet you yesterday to pick up the winter tyre set. I am very pleased you like them Having winter tyres fitted really make a massive difference. They make driving in the snow a non event (for the better). It looks like you got them just in time.

The ALPINA winter wheel set now sold to Vxrich, he pick them up this morning in the D3. A near nice guy, I am happy he is please with them and the gone to a good home.

The choice for steel or alloy I believe is a personal aesthetic issue i.e. what look nice on the car and what you can afford. The temp for which winter tyres perform better than summer tyres is from 7deg and below. So have winters on generally for 6 months Nov - April. For me the look was important ...

When I bought the ALPINA I swapped the original mats for a set of standard BMW mats. I sold the B3 BiTurbo with the BMW mats.

These ALPINA mats are as new, if you wanted to order these from BMW dealer it would cost you £170.
