Question for B10 3.2 people

Post by Mr-P » Sat Mar 27, 2010 7:54 pm

Ok as we all know only 64 of the above where imported into the UK, 59 saloons and 5 Touring. Over 1997/1998

As a point of interest and the nature of the car I am sat here wondering how many are still alive and kicking :?:

This was highligthed yesterday when doing the B10's first trackday in my onwership in the wet and another driver walked over and said:-

:!: "I am surprised you are doing trackdays in that as there were not many registered in the UK" :!:

I will still be doing trackdays (first one done in 1988) and by the way it was great fun and the car performed without any issues.

#191 is for sale just up the road: looks reasonably fit for its age, although a spruce up wouldn't hurt.

Not looking good for B10 3.2 still alive.

Less than 50% of total Uk cars registered here, but of those B10's

7 have replied saying still alive and kicking and 3 are up for sale on Pistonheads. Meaning if I am right we can account for 15% of B10 3.2(RHD) imported into the Uk.

Wondering here what has happened to the rest.

Anyone know if there is a way of finding out how many are still registered with DVLA?

I suspect most will be registered as BMWs rather than Alpinas...
