few D3 for sale at dealers

Post by vblanche » Mon Dec 14, 2009 12:56 am

Hi,

There are few D3 (single turbo) by Sytner group, but I don't understand their asking price.

let me illustrate with these 3 saloons:
2006/56 with 28000 miles for £19850
2007/07 with 33000 miles for £20850
2007/57 with 44000 miles for £21850

do these prices sound ok for you? I mean, the 2006/56 is too expensive or is there something fishy with the 2007/07?

Thanks in advance for tips/comments/advices

Gauging from previous indicated prices as discussed over the months on here, I think it's fair to say each Sytner outlet operates more-or-less independently, up to a point. The price offered on say a D3 as a trade-in will depend on such factors as stock levels, model throughput, cash flow etc at the particular dealership; any number of variables. And similarly forecourt prices will vary too. Remember too that asking prices are just that; you should always haggle.

This may help you: my 2006 56 D3 saloon with 23,000 miles: I was offered £16k by the Sytner dealership I bought it from in late Sept / early Oct, ie just under 3 years old. I am guessing they would mark it up by at least £3k so would have expected to see it for sale by them @ £19 or 19.5k but what do I know, they might have marked it up more than this..........
