ALPINA Register - Gaydon - 21st August 2005

Post by Charles » Mon Jun 06, 2005 9:10 pm

As a number of us discussed at Hathern yesterday, we are planning another Alpina get together at the BMW Car Club National Festival on 21st August 2005 at Gaydon.

The great news is that this year Alpina's have been promised a separate section rather than being lumped in with the M cars - hooray :D

Importantly, however, we need to get an idea of how many people are going to be there with their 'pinas.

Please, therefore, will you add to this thread and let us now whether you are a Yes, No or Maybe.

Any questions - post and we shall answer

Take care for now

C

I shall be there with the Roadster S as part of the Central Region anyway.

A separate section for Alpinas will be good so please reserve me a space.

I've already spoken with Ged, and Sytners have been invited to provide official Alpina representation.

Hi Charles,

Do I need to be a memeber of the BMWCC to get in to these events or can I just turn up?? Apologies for the perhaps silly questions, but I'd be glad of you guidance.

cheers
Neil

ALPINA Register - Gaydon - 21st August 2005

Post by Richard C » Mon Jun 13, 2005 9:19 am

I may be able to brinhg my B.12 but before I commit I will need to know some more information such as: -

1. What time would the cars have to be there?

2. Once there, can the cars get out easily and do we have to stay
all day?

3. What specific requirements are there other than the membershp
question answered earlier?

I can tell you what the situation was last year -you can arrive anytime (provided there is room - and if we are expecting you then that should be fine)

equally you can leave at any time

Obviously it would be good if you could stay for a while :)

BTW - did you like the photos of Donnington ?

Cheers

Neil
