Hi Andy
I have a B3.3 cab in velvet blue with Lotus white leather piped in blue. The car was on the Zymol stand at Gaydon dont know if you spotted it.
I am hoping to attend the show but if you wanted to use the car i would need all the info regaring times of placement etc to make sure i can meet your needs.
PS i am not a member of the club or register but dont have a problem with joining as i was looking in to that anyway.
feel free to mail me if you want to .

charles B yes i do remember the car and noticed it was in very good condition.. i'd be more than happy to have this car on the stand..

2 options.. either locking it in over night (from sat evening) with full security or in place by 9am on the sunday morning... car will have to remain in place till 4-4.30 on the sunday (when the show ends..)

but i can get into the finer details once i've worked out all the spaces etc.. but if you are def up for it - consider yourself on display...

ok guys.. the display list has been edited.. still looking for the E21 and E34 - so if you own one or know of a really good one.. let me know..

I'm still waiting to have confirmation from the organizers of an additional Alpina parking/area display area outside for about 20-30 cars.. and will keep you posted of the details should this all pan out...

OK...

just sorted an additional display space for about 20-30 Alpinas outside the main exhibition hall in a gated compound.

There are a few drawbacks with this and whilst i'm not 100% happy about it.. it's the best that i can sort out.

Basically the event organiziers want the area to be a sealed display rather than just a informal gathering and therefore cars are not free to come and go as i would have hoped... They will have to be in place by 9.30am as the compound will be locked. The gates will be unlocked from about 2.30pm again (although should people need to leave earlier they can have the gate unlocked to move a car from the area)

I have indicated 20-30 or so cars to be on display and the space is available but each car will need to have a ticket which I need to block buy. Now i'm not gonna do this without having the money 1st so.. Tickets are £6 per person in advance - but so I can get tickets to me and have a chance of sending them to you I will need payment by next Wednesday (12th October)

if you're interested in putting your car on the secondary display then email me at andy@e28club.com and I can give you the address to either send a cheque or pay me via paypal.

Come on lets see how many cars we can get together.. no mater what age if it's an Alpina lets get it on display and put all those M car owners to shame.

ok guys quite a few of you have committed to the outside display - cheers to those who have...

i'd have like more - but it should be a good display regardless.

If anyone still wants to get in on the act so to speak then get in touch with me pronto.. because I can't guarantee any spaces to those who just turn up on th day. (Tickets need to be bought in advance £6 per person)

I'll be posting the tickets to those who have paid mid next week..

Cheers
Andy

All the best for the coming weekend at Donnington guys.
I'm just leaving for the "tunnel" and am disappointed as it clashes with my holiday.

Andy ... How do we obtain BMWCC Alpina Register Stickers ... I did not find it to be clear in the latest Mag. ?

Have a good weekend.

Simon.

Simon

basically you need to fill in the Alpina register forms available from the show on Sunday or from then on from the club office..

They will then send them out.. so basically if you have already filled out the form then you should get them sent to you by Andrew or Gerry before the end of October (or by collecting them from Donington)

The register is free to join if you are an exisiting M Power register member (as this was the only home for Alpina's previously) or £5 one off membership - which is the same as all of the other registers.
The register is open only to BMWCCGB Members.

a great turnout indeed and i must say thanks to all who turned up.. i tried to meet you all but i'm sure there were some i didn't get to.. to those i say sorry...

Neil good to finally meet you - though sorry we didn't get a chance to sitr and chat about stuff.. i think we need to get together over a pint in a week or two.. (whu not come to Mallory wed week..?) stickers look great.

some very nice examples there.. and some ultra rare stuff two.. the E24 B10 was one.. and the 2 x B12 6.0L where another such example.

The V8s Touring will be featured in BMW car in a month or so as will Richard C's B12 in Total BMW.

Again - Thanks to all who took part or simply attended...

More importantly, Andy, thanks for all your efforts to get us there in the first place, parked where we should be and badged/stickered/numberplated up.

I thought that both the indoor and outdoor displays looked very impressive and the haul of prizes that went to Alpina owners was rich reward to everyone.

A great turnout which was vey well organised and, as always, a pleasure to meet and chat with Alpina owners.

We are a nice bunch of people and this always makes an ordinary day special :D
