Competition Time - Who can create the best ALPINA advert

Post by neil » Mon Jan 26, 2009 3:23 pm

I know Alex had a go at this a while back and produced some lovely ads.

My thinking is if you have to create an advert for ALPINA to use now.

It can either be for a specific model currently on sale or a more branding one for ALPINA itself.

We'll let it run for a few weeks and see what we get - then put it to the vote.

Getting your creative thinking hats on :)

Guess I'll kick things off... The pic I used for this I took by accident when we were doing the flash shoot and never got round to deleting it, just as well or I'd have no pic to enter! Might add another one soon...

Not too difficult - so here goes:

When you start or reply to a topic you will get the following screen:

Image

You will notice the red arrow pointing to the "Upload your photos" link that you need.

This will then open a new window (check your browser will accept pop-ups from our site) and you can then "browse" your own PC for the image you want to upload.

Image

Double-click the image you want to add from your own directory window, click on "Add the photo to your post" and when the image appears in the window, expand the frame to find the "add to your post" link at the bottom of the image. This will then add a link in your draft post which you can then preview and/or submit as you wish.

You may well have been trying this already but your browser settings may be preventing the pop-up window to appear.

Hope this helps

Hi All, I have almost completed my work on the Alpina, it was in a sad state especially due to the normal E39 issues. After getting it over from Wales as an MOT failure, I have professionally restored her. Guess it's time to put in some fuel and reap the benefits of the work been put into the car.
