Racing, the old way

Post by tlake » Fri Jul 09, 2010 2:16 am

In the '70s and '80s it seemed normal to walk into an arcade and find a steering wheel attached to an arcade cabinet. Which treasured racing gaming experiences can you recall from the pre Gran Turismo days :?: Console and PC are included too naturally. Pole Position was hard to beat. 8)

BBC Micro, 32k of RAM :!: Thinking back I recall some fitted with an external modem that allowed them to get online (as online was in those days for stock market info and such).

Ahh, all those days of mispent youth in the arcades, lol. :)

Sega's Outrun was cool for anyone that loved the Ferrari Testarossa in the '80s! 8)
