5th Midlands Breakfast Club - 2nd March 2008!

Post by Coxy » Thu Feb 07, 2008 12:54 am

After the runaway success of the 4th Midlands Breakfast Club meet, it is now time to get the ball rolling for the 5th Breakfast Club meet which is looking like it's going to be bigger than last time already!
The new venue at Cosford has proved to be the ideal location with the added attraction of the newly finished Cold War Museum and Bacon Butties, not to forget the extremely impressive line ups of some very fine cars!!

The new website is as good a finished and there's a lot of pictures from the last meet on there and also details of the next meet, with map and times etc etc!
www.midlandsbreakfastclub.co.uk

We are currently taking bookings for clubs to attending and have their cars lined up in a Display. We already have 6 clubs booked for the one in March 2nd and it already looks like we are going to have a superb variety of Classic, Performance and Sports Cars there!

We are also going to be doing a "featured cars" section!
There's an area infront of the Cold War museum which is perfect for getting "your" car into the spotlight. We are asking people along who have something that little bit different, and would make a good feature car at the event!

if you feel you have a car being put into the spotlight with the backdrop of the Cold War Museum, please use the contact form on the website!

This is limited to a maximum of 3 cars per meeting!

Here's pics from last months "featured" cars!

Dawn and i attended the April meeting at Cosford on Sunday 13th April in the B10.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC !!!!

We got there early so had brilliant opportunity to take photos of our car with various backdrops, with brilliant low sunlight.

By the 9am start there was a steady queue of cars coming in; the main area soon filled up so public car park No1 was taken over.

This also filled so most of public car park No2 was taken over as well!! (this left the general public for the museum parking on the grass!!)

Must have been well over 200 cars there, including ten Deloreans arriving together with their gull wing doors all up !! What a sight.

Six Z's arrived together (incl 2xZ1) and a few other single BM's.

We were parked next to the TVR's so more than happy (our car was really dirty though !)

Lots of different and unusual cars to interest, and everyone we spoke to was very friendly and helpful.

I would recommend that members from this register attend each month, but, we may need to be quick for the next one, as i feel the organisor will need to start restricting allocations soon.
(VERY WELL organised- thanks and congratulations)

Anyone up for attending the May meet ?(expect to be in 4 wks time tbc)
