I don't believe this one is on the board but I do know it was for sale again recently and a board member was looking at it.

It used to belong to John Burns (unixnerd) who has a very useful BMW related website. The car lived not too far from me in Aberdeenshire. John sold it earlier this year and it looks like it has travelled quite a distance.

I was never too keen on it because it had the 535 sport front spoiler instead of an Alpina item (which was only an option when the conversion was originally done by Sytner).

The only thing that I did not like about the car was that it did not have air con. My friend could have fitted this for me, but I just thought it will be too costly. I am thinking of buying another Alpina or a Ford Sierra 2000E with a Cosworth engine, but can’t make up my mind.

Another red B10 3.5 was featured sometime ago in TBMW, therefore I am aware of two red B10s

Btw: Chas, any information about your article in TBMW?
Oscar Wilde & Burkard Bovensiepen: I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.

Someone else asked me about that the other day. It's been so long since the shoot that I almost forgot about it!

It has been between 8 to 10 months now. There are a lot of members on this site that do buy the magazine and I am one of them. Also TBMW have posted on the forum therefore they do read the site. Members are interested with reading about your cars - what is taking them so long?!

Also were they going to have a second photo shoot?

The photographers (who are freelance) asked if they could come up once I had completed the restoration of the E32 B3.5 This one is in the bodyshop just now so I'll wait to hear from them!
