Hi Jeff

Main thing is you must be there for the 8.30 start.

Rockingham has a diner that will be open 11am - 3pm

The FAQ section on the Rockingham website says your Driving Licence is required.

Thanks for that, Kevin. I probably wouldn't have thought of that.

The need to bring a driving licence wasn't mentioned explicitly in my discussions but I'd bring it just in case!

Thanks for pointing that out Kev

I'm looking forward to this.

I assume it's very obvious where to go when we get to Rockingham?

Yes I'll make sure it's clear.

There is a trackday on too, so that could be the only confusion.

For reference we are meeting / signing on at the Scrutineering area.

Just to confirm that I'll be there for the morning session.

What a day!!!

Firstly thanks to Neil and D4 for organising the event.

I have learnt a lot from attending the ‘Wet Grip Day’. I would recommend the event to anyone mainly for the understanding of driving in conditions that are unpredictable on the public roads.

I will do this event again, because when I have been caught out on the public roads previously I have managed to control the skids. However today I become conscious that I have a lot more to learn! I was also rear ending like anything and I consider this to be due to my driving ability, but when one the instructors took my car onto the crescent area, the same happened to him - I therefore now do think it must have been the car’s fault and not my ability

I am interested to read the views of others.

We had a great day too. It was good to meet everyone.

I've uploaded all my pictures here:

http://rc.giles.roadnight.name/index.cf ... egoryID=68

If you want the originals click on the image and you get bigger versions and the original full size image.
The images are in a bit of a funny order at the moment which I'll sort out tomorrow along with the full size image download.

If anyone has any images of me messing it up I'd love to see them!

Thanks very much to Neil and Andy for a most enjoyable day. Good value for money IMO and it was good to meet everyone as well. I'd definitely do it again. Looking forward the mag writeup and pics.

I would like to echo the above comments, thanks Andy & Neil for organising a great event.
I learned a lot about driving the B10 in wet and icy conditions. I especially enjoyed the kick-plate.
