Alpina open weekend at John Clark Aberdeen

Post by markbannister » Wed Oct 10, 2007 2:58 pm

According to today's P&J it is an Alpina open weekend at JC Aberdeen this weekend.

The blurb states they will have the only rhd B3 and B5s, a B6 and of course not forgetting the D3.

I will be going Sunday lunch time.

I was down in Tayside last weekend, (seeing the D3 i had bought over the phone on the Friday morning, #404). I couldn't wait any longer!

RM had a D3, B3 Bi-T, B5 for test drives, and my D3 and a B6 inside the showroom. The B3 Bi-T is the german registered one which was at Goodwood earlier this year.

Just waiting for a private reg to come, YEEHAA!!!

Hi Broch

have you picked your car up yet? if so get it registered on the website HERE

what colour etc..is it...

Also MarkBanister:
the B5 that JC have at their open day isn't the B5s - it's the B5 facelift car tho with the 20" wheels and base model styling changes..

I'm not a JC Aberdeen fan but I might pop along to this if the Dundee crowd are there.

Hi D4,
Yep, i'll certainly be regestering her, just as soon as i can.
I'm just waiting for the reg and insurance to come through, so Tayside can road tax her.
Thanks for the link.

I took the B3 biturbo out for a lengthy test drive along the South Deeside Road and can simply say it was awesome, :D

The performance was phenomenal and it looked fabulous inside and out. Possibly the best car I have ever driven. As it should be, a far superior car to the E46. I shall be seriously considering one of these when they can confirm what it will cost specced up and I can compare it with the new M3 saloon.

Thanks to Nick Garvie at JC who was very helpful.
