Sytner Harold Wood Alpina Event 1st & 2nd of December 20

Post by DannyB3D3 » Sun Nov 04, 2018 3:20 pm

Hi all, just thought I'd inform you all that on the 1st and 2nd of December we will be holding an event here at Sytner Harold Wood where you will be able to test drive and view an Alpina D5 and B5. Good opportunity to bring your cars along and have a look at what the new Alpina 5-series has to offer.

The new 8-series and X5 will also be being launched and on show this weekend too.

Just thought I'd spread the word and I will be attending! Be good to see some of you here!

I’m sure it will be good day nice to have test drive and day out,
The two on line reviews are not nice at all wouldn’t inspire me.

This is probably a silly question but is the demonstrator B5 going to different to the, commonly known, green over beige one from Nottingham?

Not sure to be honest as all we have here is a D5 demonstrator so it may well be the same car

Pretty sure there's only one B5 demonstrator on the fleet at Sytner - the green one.

Mehh... I briefly spoke with Robbie on my way home who also let me know about the event and whilst I'm no longer looking to get a new Alpina just yet my wife would be very interested in seeing the new X5.
I was just hoping there'd be an even bigger reason to pull out my photography gear in the shape of a previously unseen B5.
I'll still get my car polished up for the event though!

I believe they're now using a blue touring as well as FE18 OCC; https://www.sytner.co.uk/car-search/sea ... geId=67690

Awww man... why did you have to show me that?!? I’d already closed my chequebook for the rest of the year!!

(only kidding, I’m more of a saloon type of guy instead of a touring one)

I have to confess no intention in buying a new ALPINA, well not until mine no longer can economically be repaired. Even if I did I would try to get another newer B7.

Pity would have been good to come over, but am heading in opposite direction on that day. My friend SPA69 had the car for a week and rates it highly, beware it can have the potential to cost points.

Just thought I'd confirm that FE18OCC has completed its stint as an ALPINA GB demonstrator and is now for sale.

The new B5 Touring in ALPINA Blue, registered number S17NER will be on display at the ALPINA weekend at Harold Wood at the beginning of December.

Have a great day, those that attend.
