Just before I bought my E92 B3 BiTurbo, I took a test drive with a Sytner demonstrator D3 Biturbo saloon. That must have been sometime in 2016?

Could it be the Sytner Notts ex-demonstrator? It drove obviously amazing but the B3 was petrol :wink:

Kind regards,

I took delivery of this car on Wednesday, my first Alpina and I'm delighted with it so far.

#341 CAUTION!

I went to look at this recently and walked away. It's had quite an obvious front end repair/respray which hasn't been done brilliantly. I spotted:

* Old stone chips spray painted over
* Headlamps slightly misaligned
* Over-spray on the black trim in lower splitter
* Not polished/lacquered paint on the bumper where it meets the inside of the headlamps

What concerned me was that since the car is 1 owner, relatively new and low mileage, why skimp on a crap repair job? Obviously not done by BMW (I hope!)

I pointed it all out to the dealer who looked less than impressed. Interestingly they've not dropped the price since I went. Advert is here:

As I say, proceed with caution or knowledge!

Best,

Charles.

This is why there is no substitute for viewing a car in person. Photos on the internet can hide a thousand sins!

Thanks for reporting your experience.
