Hmmm - upon reflection, it's the FoS that weekend, and we've got a few drop-outs.

I'm also struggling to raise any interest from my ///M driving pals due to the FoS.

Think I might can it for now and go to the FoS on Friday with you lot instead.

Any thoughts before I ring Ray on Monday and cancel?

I'd prefer it if you didn't but would understand if you did.

Not too worried when it is, would have preferred before I go to Germany
but any time after the middle of July is fine.
Please let us know if the 23rd of June is a definate no.

Right fellas

I'm gonna cancel it - literally no bugger is free that weekend except for the four already expressing interest here!

I'll go to Goodwood instead

Charles - I'll drop you a line when I'm next chucking the 3.3 on the dyno, see if you can't get along to do a back to back with your 3.4

Apologies for pulling the plug.

Rgds

I dunno - we need a little more interest before we go for a date - I would say July, but I'm not too keen on running my car in a small unit in the middle of summer.

the "invite only" bit might be putting some noses out of joint. Just a thought

The Invite only bit is/was for non-alpinas

Slapping a thread all over Pistonheads or E36coupe.com may result in all sorts of idjits turning up.

The car is in some ways irrelevant - it's about attitude.

I don't want to sour my relationship with Ray West by having unknown pillocks turn up and do the inevitable. Neither do I want the Register, and it's association with the BMWCC, brought into disrepute by actions of those not directly associated with us.

Of course, I'm making the assumption that all those on here who would attend are mature responsible adults who own 160mph+ machines purely for the engineering aspect. :shifty :shifty

I'd like to find out what my aged V8 can do. Like to find out what 133k does to a car...and maybe get some tips on restoring her to best health.

But I couldn't have done June 23rd anyway. A weekday is usually good for me, if I'm in the country...
