At the pub next to their premises, annual event, always worth a look.

Not really its not managed tightly, I would suggest you get there as early as you can as it is always busy and the light fades quick at this time of year.

No photos sadly but I saw Brian and Norrie with their steeds, and a B2.5 before the evening descended into the sad fuckwittery of idiots racing up and down the road and constant high revving of engines in the car park.

A friend and I noted that we should have taken note of the numberplates of cars being driven wheelspinning from freezing cold and vowed never to buy them... including some biblically-expensive-to-rebuild V10's.

Munich Legends had an E24 Alpina B7S in for a complete engine management change and modification due to multiple and irreparable breadowns of the original ECU and its many sensors.

The i8 Roadster was interesting but apparently has no boot/trunk/whatever storage at all.

That's sad to hear. Surely the ML staff should have stopped that to at least preserve their reputation with their local neighbours?

What a pity that this potential good meet is not organised well. It gets dark about 8 pm which is when I left. I arrived at 4pm with a friend and we parked in the front of the pub. We did not move our cars.

I am unsure who this is meant to attract but it does attract many, some people seem to be disappointed when asked to park in the rear of the pub and others at the small industrial premises a few hundred yards up the road.

Many of the people seem to be friends or customers of Munich legends, one guy turned up in a Porsche found out he could not park on the front and drove off like a lunatic.

By 8pm it was wacky races, pitch black, I thought mm this going to end in tears, decided to leave. There were some great cars, nice people and a friendly atmosphere this seemed to go downhill as the evening progressed.

I got there reasonably early and found the event in full swing, unfortunately Dan seems to be catering for the Chavs.

Why on earth did they have a DJ playing Moron noise ( I won't say music) Sad

A normal conversation was impossible unless you moved some way from the din being produced, not sure what was worse the crap sounds or valve bounce from the many Chav E30s that turned up Crying or Very sad
Both were giving me a headache so I left early.
Saw Norman and Kevin and also Steve Hosford with his B10, although he had to park some way away.

Although I did't make it to the event I can imagine what it was like and sad to hear the above! #myexhuastisbiggerthenyours Shocked

Will stick smaller low key meet ups such as the CBC one at Phils's earlier this year!

This may be a unfair/controversial comment but many performance BMWs, especially M have attracted the wrong sort of crowd over the years. One of the reasons I've liked Alpina - they appeal to a very different sort of person. Sounds elitist I know, but I really don't mean it that way and mean no offence - there of course always exceptions to this...
