As Oneball says, find a decent indie. And an indie with the experience of engine rebuilds if needs be.

Phil has plenty of experience rebuilding the 3.4 engine - mine in particular!!!

Last time he did this, it cost me about £1500-2000 (which includes the cost of a new Head Gasket and other replacement gaskets, bolts etc).

Went to bring the poorly one home. The person got the car back from was as clueless as anythinf. I asked him do they know where the oil is leaking. He goes I don't know. No fault codes given. All they said was don't drive it far. His customer service skills were useless deeply unhappy with them. What are the contact details of the one you mentioned I'll give them a call and see what they recommend.
Will start saving and in the meantime she'll have to go of the road for a sleep.

Phil Crouch at CPC Performance Engineering

I would recommend dropping him an email in the first instance as he is more likely to respond to that than a phone call - he is always busy and it is common knowledge how difficult it is to get him in the same place as a telephone!

What he doesn't know about ALPINAs is not worth knowing but, if you expect an instant response, then you are likely to be disappointed. However, if you are patient and persistent, then you will find that he will be able to help you.

Thankyou :)

I'm not in a hurry. Gives me chance to save the pennies up. I'll drop him and email and go from there. Thanks for your help :)
