B5 Edition 50 debate

Post by Bieldside » Sat Nov 11, 2017 1:37 pm

I’ve been offered a high spec B5 Edition 50 car
Obviously one of only two in the UK
400 miles with the beautiful bespoke interior only provided on the Edition 50
Debate is .... should I buy it
Big money
And my first Alpina if I did buy
Thx [/quote]

Great car,and rare. How much is big money and how much do you want it? Would you store it or drive it? All considerations.

If I had the disposable I'd buy it and drive it. Watched a chap struggling to park his Lambo on the high street today. I don't like that sort of attention and that b5 would not be disgraced In that company. It would have a much more discerning audience!
Made me want to go for a drive now!

The B5 for me.

What sways me over the B7 is the B5 being the limited edition 50.

What does you gut instinct say?

No desire for a 7 Series
Yes the attraction is one on only two
And will always be one of two

Mmm
Never thought about that
Bought a few cars but not many
Porsche mainly
Tempted by a Z4 Alpina Roadster but not much else
But dipped in and out
This one is the first that I’ve gone ... that’s a real car
Rare
600bhp
Beautiful interior
High spec

Not cheap, but a special car, and pretty much a one off. Personally I think they look better than the new G series cars. New one is also 4wd, whereas the Ed50 is rwd.
If you can afford it, do it, you will not be disappointed.
